Sustainable development

We are responsible members of the community; therefore, we care for the environment, our employees and the impact of our services on nature. We introduced integrated management systems in order to ensure sustainable development. In order to take care of workplace safety and employees' health, we use occupational safety and health management system which conforms to ISO 45001 standard. In order to ensure environmental protection, we have implemented a management system in accordance with the ISO 14001 Standard. In order to fulfil clients' expectations and ensure quality, we act on the basis of quality management system in accordance with ISO 9001 standard. Our management systems are periodically audited by international auditors from DNV GL.

Occupational safety and health policy

Occupational safety and health are some of the major values of Švykai. In order to ensure safe and healthy work conditions, we introduced occupational safety and health management system in 2008 which is certified and conforms to ISO 45001 Standard. Constant update and improvement of occupational safety and health policy not only reduces the risk of accidents and occupational diseases but also improves quality of the work and performance.

In order to ensure occupational safety and health, we commit to:

  • conform to all regulatory requirements for occupational health and safety;
  • ensure the management of occupational risk in the company and focus on prevention;
  • ensure employees' qualification if they are working potentially dangerous works;
  • provide employees with personal and collective protective equipment;
  • periodically review and update occupational safety and health policy.

Environment protection policy

In order to ensure that existing and future operational processes are safe and reduce environmental damage, we implemented the environmental management system in accordance with the ISO 14001 Standard.
We constantly invest in new and environment-friendly technologies.

In order to ensure environment protection, we commit to:

  • during work use materials that cause less damage to the environment;
  • use new and cleaner production technologies when possible;
  • use raw materials, energy, and natural resources economically;
  • to include all employees of the company in the implementation of environmental protection activities;
  • comply with legal requirements regarding the environmental aspects of the company;
  • constantly improve environmental management system in accordance with the ISO 14001 Standard requirements.

Quality policy

In order to ensure highest standards of service quality, we have implemented the quality management system which is certified and conforms to ISO 9001 standard requirements. We are constantly searching for methods on how to improve business processes, train employees and introduce new technologies.

In order to ensure the quality of service we commit to:

  • take responsibility for the service and solutions;
  • to follow quality policy in everyday activities and provide the necessary resources for quality policy implementation;
  • constantly review, evaluate and improve the quality management system to ensure its compliance with ISO 9001 standard requirements;
  • introduce innovations: the latest business organisation methods, the most advanced work methods, and new technologies;
  • promote employees' participation in the development of the company activities;
  • ensure constant training of employees and safe workplace development.
