Švykai UAB provides dry and wet sand blast cleaning services at sites of its customers.
Dry sandblasting is the most wide-spread cleaning method. Blast cleaning makes surfaces rougher and enables better surface grip with paint. Sand blasting with compressed air is done by supplying an abrasive (sand or slag) into the stream of air and directing the air-abrasive mix from sprinkle to a surface being cleaned at high speed. We offer blast cleaning of surfaces complying with cleaning categories Sa 1, Sa 2, Sa 2 ½ and Sa 3 as per ISO 12944-4 requirements.
Wet sandblasting. This surface cleaning method is like the abrasive blast cleaning with the compressed air yet some liquid (clean fresh water usually) is added to make the float of air, water, and an abrasive. The method is used when reduction of dust is vital in surface cleaning.
